Office Ergonomics Assessments
In-person and Virtual Assessments for Work Office and Home Office environments
We have extensive experience in conducting ergonomics analysis for:
- Employees who are experiencing symptoms or have been diagnosed with a medical condition or have had surgery that could impact their work;
- Employees whose health care providers have recommended an ergonomics assessment;
- Employees who have been involved in MVAs (motor vehicle accidents) and, consequently, insurance companies have recommended an ergonomics assessment;
- Employees with physical attributes that are outside the range of the 5th percentile female to 95th percentile male; and
- Employees who continue to experience symptoms following a preliminary ergonomics review conducted by in-house “Ergo Reps”.
Note: Some health care insurance plans cover the cost of an ergonomics assessment. Consult your health care insurance provider.
Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) Ergonomics Risk Assessments
A 3-step process that involves:
- On-site assessment (data collection);
- Comparing actual data to guidelines / industry standards; and
- Detailed report with findings and recommendations (engineering, administrative and/or behavioural).
Physical Demands Analysis (PDAs) or Job Demands Analysis (JDAs)
A description of the job’s physical and cognitive demands. These reports are particularly useful for accelerating the return-to-work process for injured workers.
